We have to transport the marquee, is my car big enough or do I need to borrow a van? It depends on your car. An estate should be able to fit the marquee in but other styles of car might need two trips. The boxes are as follows (all sizes are approximate and in mm) 1. 690x600x270 contains the roof 2. 700x590x260 contains the windows and walls so can be opened up for ease of loading 3. 690x590x360 contains the metalwork knuckles and small parts – can be split up for easier loading but be careful not too lose anything 4. 1540x310x130 metal poles 5. 1560x270x130 metal poles 6. 2000x250x120 metal poles 7. 2000x250x120 metal poles 8. 1970x220x130 metal poles 9. 2000x290x120 metal poles 10. variable size, contains lining(s) and instructions When should we erect the marquee? Not on the day! Ideally several days before to allow time for decorating the marquee and in case of any problems. If you're laying flooring don't worry about leaving it down for several days – grass is tough stuff and will soon recover. |
