- Solid floors
- plastic interlocking tiled floors are available to hire but can be expensive hired on their own.
- wooden floors can easily be constructed laying battening on the ground and screwing/nailing chipboard or plywood on top to create a solid surface. This can then be finished using stain, paint or even carpet.
- Dance floors
- available from furniture hire or catering equipment hire companies.
- normally have a choice between parquet (wooden) and black & white chequered panels.
- can construct yourself in the same way as a wooden solid floor (a lot of marquee hire companies simply use plywood with battening on as a dance floor)
